How to Choose Logo Colors

Al Ries and Laura Ries give us several pieces of advice about choosing colors for a brand logo:
  1. A brand should use a color that is the opposite of its major competitor's.
  2. Choosing a color that differentiates is more important than picking one that sets an intended mood or is descriptive.
  3. A single color is almost always the best color strategy for a brand.
