Big Bend National Park

If you like primitive camping and can stand desert climate, you might want to try visiting Big Bend National Park. I've camped there several times.

My first visit was a four-day, three-night camping adventure. With my buddies, Jim and Bobby, I spent the first two nights high in the mountains and the third night in a random spot in the desert. My fondest memory of the trip was playing the card game "War" in the desert while drinking warmed cognac as the sun set.
